The Good Samaritan offers many special services to the community. The wicker
furniture they offer is fantastic. We have many pieces from their store in our
home. They also carry used furniture and clothing. But makes Good Samaritan such
a great addition to downtown Madison is their outreach programs. The Good
Samaritan is also a church with services. They are a non-profit organizations.
All the money generated is used to create a self-sustaining organization that
feeds and clothes the needy in the area. You can buy high quality items and feel
good about yourself knowing that you've helped the less fortunate. The building
that the Good Samaritan now calls home was built in 1917 has been primarily been
used as a furniture store. The large space allows for the display of many items
as well as providing the area needed to hold church services. Please stop in and
say high to Terry Glasgow. He will be happy to show you the wonderful furniture
as well as explain how the Good Samaritan helps the Madison community.
