Comments: Tammy and I had dinner at Key West Shrimp House last Friday and the place was rockin. We were there for a retirement party for Pat Trueblood (congrats Pat!) Key West is the place where ICU celebrates all their parties. The food was great. I had the filet and coconut shrimp. Tammy says its the best salad bar in town. Megan was our waitress and she handled the stress of a big crowd excellently. The restaurant was packed and it looked like everyone was enjoying the food and atmosphere. Everybody at my table had something different and all enjoyed the broad menu. The only thing absent from the event was Scott and Susan who were enjoying a much needed weekend off in the Smokies.

Comments: We came in here for dinner last night while visiting the area for the weekend. From the beginning to the end we had a wonderful experience. We were greeted in a friendly down home manner and were promptly seated and waited on.
The staff was all friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly and was one of the best seafood meals I've had in years.
All in all it made for a wonderful meal and I will definitely come back the next time I'm in the area. I doubt you could find such a friendly, comfortable atmosphere anywhere else and would recommend this restaurant to any one.

Comments: Celebrated my 60th birthday on Valentine's Day. It was like old times, because special days had been celebrated at the Key West Shrimp House in Indianapolis when I was a girl. The fried shrimp were a revelation - so fluffy, tender and tasty - almost worth the 2.5 hour drive to have another portion! Siegmund, my fisherman, enjoyed his first ever portion of halibut. The staff bent over backwards to be friendly. The salad bar was terrific and the historical notes in the back of the menu were entertaining reading during the short wait for the first course.

Comments: We just ate at the restaurant for the first time. We are already planning a trip back and bring other family members to enjoy the awesome food. We had a little wait, but time went by fast as we played uno downstairs. We have been telling everyone about the restaurant.

Comments: We've been coming to the Key West Shrimp house for years...too many to count. We live about an hour and a half away, but even so, we get down to Madison at least once or twice a year. We have always loved everything about the place--the food, the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, and the scenery. Tonight, however, the place BLEW US AWAY. It may well have been THE BEST dining experience we have ever had...ANYWHERE. From the moment Gene, the manager, welcomed us in, to the time that our waitress, Cathy, played "waitress" with our 3-year-old, we felt comfortable, relaxed, welcomed, and at home. And, that doesn't even take into account that the food was fantastic, and we could not have been more stuffed when we left. When money is tight and poeple must pick and choose where to spend, you made our investment seem really worthwhile. Thank you, thank you, thank for giving us such wonderful family evening.
